Richard B. Welch

Mr. Welch is a founder of Best Practices Medical Partners LLC (BPMP), Best Practices Insurance Services, LLC (BPIS) d.b.a. AMS Management Group and Applied Medico-legal Solutions Risk Retention Group, Inc. (AMS RRG). He currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of both AMS RRG and AMS Management Group, and is an owner and President of Global Stage Limited, a member of Lloyd's of London.

As founder, President and CEO of AMS RRG, Mr. Welch has led the company since its inception for the last 20 years. Prior to his current position, he served in a range of executive roles within the healthcare industry. Mr. Welch has served on the boards of numerous charitable and professional healthcare organizations, including Broward Center for the Performing Arts Foundation Board as chairman, Duke Fuqua School of Business Healthcare Alumni Advisory Board, Seminole Boosters, Inc. Board of Directors and YPO. Mr. Welch holds a degree in Business Management from Florida State University and a Master’s Degree in Health Administration from Duke University.

Steven M. Shapiro, M.D.

Steven Shapiro, M.D. is a founder of Best Practices Medical Partners LLC (BPMP), Best Practices Insurance Services, LLC (BPIS) d.b.a. AMS Management Group and Applied Medico-legal Solutions Risk Retention Group, Inc. (AMS RRG), where he currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer. He is also an owner of Global Stage Limited, a member of Lloyd’s of London.

A pulmonologist and intensivist, Dr. Shapiro has held Board Certifications in multiple specialties including Quality Assurance and Utilization Review, Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and Sleep Disorders Medicine. He has served in numerous leadership positions throughout his career, including Chief of Staff, Medical Director and Committee Chair for medical and surgical peer review committees. Dr. Shapiro received his B.S. degree from SUNY at Buffalo and his Doctor of Medicine at SUNY Health Science Center at Syracuse. He completed his Pulmonary and Critical Care training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Joseph Kleinman, M.D.

Joseph Kleinman, M.D. is a radiologist and serves as the Specialty Medical Director for Radiology for AMS RRG. His practice was one of the first members of AMS RRG, joining in 2003. Since then, he has helped grow our specialty offerings, and in 2015, Dr. Kleinman helped launch the Preferred Radiology and Imaging program to offer deeper insights into underwriting and claims management, providing cost-effective options to member Radiologists. Dr. Kleinman also serves as the Claims Committee Chair for AMS RRG. 

Dr. Kleinman is currently the Chairman of the Department of Radiology at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. Over the course of his nearly two-decade tenure there, he has also held several leadership positions. 

He serves on the Boca Raton Regional Hospital Advisory Board, Boca Raton Regional Medical Executive Committee, Physician Advisory Committee, Strategic Steering Committee and Clinical Integration Network Committee as well as Vice President of the Medical Staff. He is also very active in educating the next generation, as he works with medical students at the FAU Charles E Schmidt College of Medicine in his roles as Assistant Professor of Biomedical Sciences, Radiology Clerkship Director and a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha selection committee. 

Stephen Korducki

Steve Korducki has over 45 years’ experience in insurance and reinsurance accounting and finance. He has spoken frequently at industry conferences, including the IASA, served in a number of senior leadership roles within the insurance and reinsurance community, including tenure as a Chief Financial Officer and Chief Executive Officer.  Over the course of his career, Steve has provided consulting services to a number of leading reinsurers, insurers, insurance departments and intermediaries.  He is an alumnus of Marquette University, a Certified Public Accountant and currently holds the Series 7, 24, 63, and 79 FINRA licenses.   

Harry Moon, M.D. FACS

In his distinguished 30-year career as a physician leader, researcher, surgeon and teacher, Dr. Moon has been recognized by numerous organizations for his commitment to improving patient care, expertise in plastic and reconstructive surgery, and devotion to ongoing research and education.

Over the past two-and-a-half decades, hospitals, medical organizations and universities throughout the world have relied on Dr. Moon's insight and expertise. In addition to teaching positions and visiting professorships in the United States, he has served in an academic capacity for organizations in Australia, Brazil, Canada, Italy, New Zealand, England, France, Federated States of Micronesia and the Republic of Palau. Nationally, he is a teaching faculty member for ASPS and ASAPS on surgical techniques. Dr. Moon has authored more than 40 peer-reviewed research papers, over 100 abstracts, and multiple programs and educational videos on a wide range of subjects, with a particular focus on cutting-edge treatments and applications in plastic and reconstructive surgical procedures.

Dr. Moon was a founding staff member of Cleveland Clinic Florida, where he became COO, and subsequently CEO. He is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Nova Southeastern University, where he is responsible for the leadership, overall direction and effective management of NSU's administrative operations, with emphasis on more efficient and student-centered clinical operations. Dr. Moon leads the development of operational and business partnerships to support NSU Health, NSU Broward Center of Innovation, Academical Village and all NSU Colleges.

Phillip Reilly

Phil Rielly serves as President and Co-Founder of AvevoRx LLC, a national specialty infusion company.  In addition to AvevoRx, Phil is a Director with Atlantic Research Group CRO, VDMS Ireland, Synergy Billing and former director of Cincinnati Sub Zero Medical Device and Alpha Waste before their respective exits. 

Prior to that, Phil had served as President of Diplomat Specialty Infusion Group until August 2020. He joined Diplomat Specialty Infusion Group in 2014 with the acquisition of BioRx, LLC, a company he co-founded in 2004. While there, through mostly organic growth, they acquired and integrated eight other regional tuck-in businesses to create a national leading specialty infusion platform with 800 FTE’s and nearly $1 Billion in revenue. Prior to his presidency of BioRx, Phil co-founded CliniCare, a respiratory equipment provider, and PRO2, a business serving the respiratory therapy market. Phil began working in healthcare with Apria in 1992. He gained specialty pharmaceutical experience with Alpha Therapeutics and Coram, where he was area market director for the blood products division.

Phil earned his Bachelor of Arts in communications and marketing from Spring Hill College in Alabama.
